Baptisms

Baptism is held on most Sundays after the 12:00 noon Mass. Baptismal preparation is required for first-time parents. Contact the rectory at 636-394-7307 to make arrangements for baptism and preparation.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Saturday

4:00 pm to 4:45 pm or anytime upon request

Marriage

Couples planning marriage, please contact a parish priest or deacon at least six months in advance of marriage.

Anointing of the Sick

In the revised rite of the Church, this sacrament may be administered to a Catholic prior to a special operation, in the event of serious illness, for anyone who needs the Lord s healing power, or because of the immediate possibility of death. The sacrament may be received in church, in the home, at the hospital, or wherever circumstances dictate. Please call the rectory (636-394-7307) to make arrangements for the celebration of this sacrament of healing.

Communion Calls

Any parishioner who is unable to attend our Sunday liturgies may receive Holy Communion at their home. Please contact the rectory if a member of your household is seriously ill or incapacitated in some manner. Communion call appointments will be arranged between the minister and the parishioner.

Funeral Liturgies

Our parish wants to assist you in whatever way we can in such a time of great need. The funeral home will consult with you concerning your desires for the visitation and the Mass. Our parish priests are most willing to conduct a wake service at the funeral home, arrange for musicians, servers, lectors at Mass, assist in planning or choosing appropriate readings, and meet with and/or pray with individual family members. Ordinarily, the funeral home will convey your wishes to us. However, do not hesitate to personally call us to make arrangements. We wish to respond to your family's every need in a loving, caring way.

Funeral Outreach

The women of St. Clare are participating in a program to furnish lunch for fellow parishioners in time of need. The lunch will be set up the day of the funeral in the home of the bereaved St. Clare family. (Meat is to be provided by the family.) Arrangements can be made by calling the rectory, 636-394-7307, Sallie Roche,  Jean Karins, or Yvonne Morrison. This service is for St. Clare parishioners' immediate family and lunch is provided within the St. Clare parish boundaries.
