The Engagement Commission’s mission is to develop parish life through community building and fellowship by offering programs and events to enrich and support the lives of the parishioners of St. Clare of Assisi.

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic fraternal benefit society. Together with their associated Ladies’ Auxiliary they provide support for the Catholic Church in the areas of evangelization, Catholic education, social justice, civic involvement, protection of life and help to the needy. The Knights four core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism are the foundation for their work. Practicing Catholic men age 18 and over are welcome to join the St. Clare Knights Council on the Third Tuesday of each month.

• Felice Cuores
  A party for adults, ages 18 and older, with mental handicaps or developmental disabilities. The parties are from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in the dining hall usually on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. A $5 entry fee includes DJ, soda, snacks, and door prizes. The parties are chaperoned by the Knights of Columbus and the Ladies’ Auxiliaries. There is no charge for parents or caregivers who choose to stay.

Ladies’ Auxiliary
The Ladies’ Auxiliary assists and works alongside the Knights of Columbus.

Men’s Club 
Organization of men to assist the parish and its members with their needs and to promote the best interests of the parish. Membership is open to any male member of the parish over 21. The Men’s Club sponsors fund raisers, sport, and social activities, including our Oktoberfest and Santa breakfast. Regular meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7:30pm in the Cafeteria.

Welcoming Committee
This organization greets new parishioners and informs them of the various parish commissions, organizations, and committees. The committee also sponsors socials events to offer an opportunity for new members to be welcomed to the parish community.

Family Ministry:
St. Clare of Assisi Family Ministry was formed to promote faith-filled connection, friendship, and unity among all parish families. Families participate in the planning, organizing, and execution of events that engage all generations of the family (children, teens, parents, grandparents), with a focus on prayer, service, and community. The ministry seeks to foster deep appreciation of the presence of God within the love, joy, and interdependence of the Christian family.
