Marriage

The emphasis of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is on communication between a husband and wife who together spend a weekend at a local hotel, away from the distractions and tensions of everyday life, to concentrate on each other. The ‘weekend’ starts at 8pm on a Friday evening and ends with Mass at 3pm on Sunday afternoon, and is held six times a year. A communication technique is taught which permits each couple, in the privacy of their own room after a presentation by a married couple and priest, to explore important areas of their relationship in a spirit of love and positive understanding.
